How is this site different from RateMyProfessors.com?

While inspired by RateMyProfessors.com, our site aims to provide a more personalized and interactive experience tailored specifically to Caldwell University and its close-knit community. Here are some key differences:

  1. Our site actively seeks and addresses feedback from students, faculty, and officials to continuously improve the platform. We have a dedicated team, including former TAs and tutors, who regularly gather input from fellow students.
  2. In addition to rating professors, students can share "Thank You" and "Frustration" moments in separate sections. Professors will be encouraged to respond to these ratings and opinions, fostering a dialogue between students and faculty.
  3. To maintain a respectful environment, we have guidelines in place for student submissions. Anonymous posts will still require a Caldwell email sign-in, and we utilize OpenAI's ChatGPT API and a profanity filter to validate responses against our guidelines.
  4. We plan to regularly meet with university authorities to share student feedback and professor responses, as well as send occasional email updates to professors regarding the feedback they've received.
